Engage Ministry Purpose…
- To help reignite a passion for evangelism in churches and communities across Texas and beyond, and see an extraordinary move of the Holy Spirit that produces extraordinary results in the lives of God’s people.
- To give college and seminary students who are called to ministry an opportunity to serve in capacities that would better prepare them for future ministry. These capacities are: Preacher/Team Leader, Youth/Children’s Leader, and Worship Leader.
What will someone attain from serving on an Engage Ministry Team?

- All expenses paid summer ministry opportunities in addition to a weekly cash stipend to cover miscellaneous expenses. Mileage will also be reimbursed throughout the summer.

- Gain a better understanding of God’s purpose in the world in sending Revival and Awakening.
What will the Engage Ministry ask of me?
- To submit and complete a registration packet and include if available, a video of one leading in their particular ministry field (ex. sermon, worship service, youth bible study, etc.) prior to the application deadline.
- To schedule and attend a required interview at the SBTC offices in Grapevine during the months of February and March.
- To attend and participate in Engage Staff Orientation , in May 23-26, 2012 at Brookhaven Retreat Center, Hawkins, TX(All expenses paid).
- To lead seven weeks of ministry in various locations throughout Texas beginning the first week of June 2012. Each team will be given one week off. Ministry will be completed after the conclusion of the Student Evangelism Conference/Engage Debriefing on Friday, July 28, 2012.
- To attend and participate in the Student Evangelism Conference/Engage Team Debriefing.
